Faculties:

There are 62 teaching staff members,of which five are professors and one are research fellow (equaling to professorship),24 are associate professors, 19 teachers with doctorate degrees.And several academicians from Chinese Academy of Engineering and experts from other universitiesare appointed as adjunct professors.In recent years, the lecturers of the school have joined and completed more than 180 research projects at national,provincial and municipal level;published more than 400 academic articles,more than 30 monographs;and obtained more than 70 authorized patents.

Experimental Labs and Bases:

There are four teaching and research offices of the major courses as mentioned above;3 in-campus and 32 off-campus experimental bases; the major of plant protecting is the first-class major for bachelor’s degree in Henan province.

The school has 2 research centers at provincial level:the Henan provincial working station for academicians on the protection against harmful creatures in the South-Henan’s agriculture plants,Henan provincial research center of the engineering technology of quality control of tea products,as well as 8 research centers at the municipal level.

Undergraduates:

There are many dynamic societies and clubs of students,including Plant Protection Society, UAV Society, Insect Lovers Club, Seeds Society, Medicinal Plants Society, Soilless Cultivation Society, Plant Nutrition Society .
